Challenge A national multifamily developer who was re-entering the Puget
Sound market a four year absence. Having constructed over 4,000 apartments
region, they were searching for a large urban development site for the
construction of a premium, ~200 unit apartment building.
Solution Using innovative search methods, we researched and located an
owner with property that matched our client's criteria. The sellers already had an
offer on the property. We were able to put together an offer from our buyers
which satisfied the needs of the seller, thus encouraging them to reject the
existing offer and accept our client's offer. The property was successfully sold for
$5,200,000 for the development of a seven story, 199 unit apartment building
with street level retail and underground parking.
